Overview

Rachael Oldfield assists the aviation, real estate, banking, and corporate practice groups with transactional, financing, and litigation matters.

She has 10 years of combined experience in both the legal and commercial banking fields, bringing a unique understanding of transactional nuances and requirements.

Rachael works closely with individuals, lenders, and title companies in the aviation industry to effectively navigate the complex processes involved with the purchase, sale, and/or financing of aircraft.  Her aviation experience encompasses transactions involving single-engine aircraft to large cabin jet aircraft.  She assists with the formation and documentation of entities involved with aircraft ownership, assists with KYC requirements, and coordinates registration of these entities on the International Registry.  Her role includes preparing various aviation-related documents, assisting with closings, and tracking post-closing items to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Rachael also has extensive experience involving financing and real estate transactions.  She utilizes commercial banking experience in her current role by assisting attorneys with the documentation of loans, including drafting loan and ancillary documents, and conducting pre- and post-closing due diligence. Rachael assists attorneys with purchase and sale transactions involving real estate by ordering and reviewing title work and surveys, reviewing various pre-closing due diligence items, and coordinating closings.  Her involvement in real estate and banking extends to assisting attorneys with contract disputes and litigation matters.
