Jennifer Goulah represents financial institutions, corporations, and individual clients in connection with complex real estate purchases, sales, and leases, and in connection with negotiating and documenting real estate finance transactions.
She has extensive experience examining and assessing legal documents pertaining to interests in commercial land and access to natural resources and in advising clients as to legal procedures required to convey and establish legal interests in real estate.
Jennifer began her legal career with Bodman as an associate in the Banking and Real Estate groups where she represented financial institutions in real estate secured lending transactions, represented corporate clients in real estate purchase, sale and lease transactions, and represented high net worth individuals in residential and commercial real estate transactions. She returned to Bodman as a Member in June 2022 after having served for ten years as in-house commercial counsel to one of the nation’s largest title insurance agencies.
Before becoming an attorney, she had a successful career as a corporate HR executive, including serving as Director of Employee Relations for a major automotive service provider with more than 4000 employees in 800 facilities nationwide.
Jennifer is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she ranked second in her class.
Jennifer is an active volunteer with the Junior League of Detroit, a nonprofit organization that works to promote volunteerism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
