Aaron C. Roberson Jr. represents business clients in connection with complex transactions and general corporate matters.
Aaron assists clients with corporate formation, structuring, and governance matters including drafting certain corporate documents for Delaware and Michigan entities. He also has experience drafting HOA loan documents for certain loan transactions between lenders and condominium associations.
Before joining Bodman, Aaron was an associate at a Michigan-based business law firm where he was a member of deal teams handling complex M&A transactions and performed due diligence, maintaining closing checklists, drafting ancillary documents and disclosure schedules, and assisting with closing matters.
As a law student, Aaron served as a law clerk for the Honorable Victoria A. Roberts of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He was an associate editor of the Detroit Mercy Law Review and received the Sengstock Award for Best Law Review Note for his note, “White Hair Only: Why the Concept of Immutability Must Be Expanded to Address Hair Discrimination Against Black Women in the Workplace.” In his time at Detroit Mercy Law, He served as the vice president of the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Black Law Students Association, Women’s Law Caucus, and Detroit Mercy Moot Court Board of Advocates.
