Bodman is pleased to announce that three experienced banking attorneys – Eric C. Bartley, Brian P. Foley, and Chelsey L. Marsh – have joined the firm as members based in the Detroit office.

All three are members of Bodman’s Banking Practice Group. They practiced previously in the Troy, Michigan office of a national business law firm.

The new attorneys add even more depth to Bodman’s market-leading banking law practice, which is ranked at the highest level for quality and service by the highly respected global law firm rating services Chambers USA and IFLR1000.

“Banking is one of Bodman’s signature practice areas, and the addition of these talented attorneys further enhances our ability to serve financial institutions on a national basis,” said Bodman Chair Carrie Leahy. “We are thrilled to have them join us.”

Bartley specializes in complex commercial real estate finance transactions for national bank and non-bank lenders on both portfolio investments and investments intended for securitization in the capital markets. He has served as lead counsel for clients in commercial mortgage originations and the related negotiation of intercreditor and participation agreements on projects across the country.
