Nathan D. Dupes, of the firm’s Detroit office, has been appointed to the steering committee of the Federal Bar Association’s Newer Lawyers Initiative.
The Newer Lawyers Initiative was recently created to generate greater participation of younger lawyers in the Federal Bar Association. The steering committee is composed of Detroit area lawyers who are 36 years old or younger and have practiced for fewer than 5 years.
Dupes is a member of Bodman’s Environmental Group and Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Group. He represents clients involved in complex commercial litigation matters.
While in law school, Dupes was a member of Wayne Law Moot Court, served as assistant and senior note and comment editor of the Wayne Law Review, and as president and treasurer of the Environmental Law Society. He served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Arthur T. Tarnow of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
