Nashara A. L. Peart Selected as Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Nashara A. L. Peart of the firm’s Detroit office has been inducted as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF).
The Fellows of the ABF comprise a global honorary society of lawyers, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in the profession and service to society. To become a Fellow, a candidate must be recommended by their peers and approved by the board of the ABF.
Fellows support the ABF’s interdisciplinary, empirical research program and contribute to the attainment of the ABF’s goals, including the study, improvement, and facilitation of the administration of justice and the rule of law; the promotion of the study of law; the continuing education of lawyers and judges; the publication and distribution of addresses, reports, treatises, and other works on legal subjects; and the promotion of suitable standards of legal education.
Peart is a senior associate in Bodman’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and Automotive and Industrial practices. Peart helps clients resolve complex business disputes and represents them in state and federal courts and in a broad range of alternative dispute resolution forums. She has particular experience in litigation matters involving complex business disputes, probate disputes, and general commercial disputes.
