Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Michigan Lawyers Weekly has named Justin R. Wheeler of the firm’s Grand Rapids office a Go To Lawyer for Real Estate and Condominium Law.
Wheeler was one of only 19 lawyers statewide to earn the Go To Lawyer designation for Real Estate and Condominium Law. Go To Lawyers are selected through a peer nomination process. Nominators were asked to identify other lawyers who are experts in their field of practice, who have a track record of success, who think creatively, and to whom they would refer clients because of their expertise and accomplishments.
Wheeler is a member of Bodman’s Real Estate Practice Group. He represents businesses and individuals involved in real estate transactions ranging from significant personal residences to large commercial properties including sales and acquisitions for cash, on land contract, and with seller or traditional lender financing. He reviews, drafts, and negotiates commercial leases for both lessors and lessees for office, retail and industrial properties.
Wheeler also represents owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors in construction-related matters.
He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Wheeler is active with the Commercial Alliance of REALTORS West Michigan and serves on the organization’s Education Committee. He is also active with the Greenstone Institute, a Grand Rapids-based nonprofit that supports educational programs that promote sustainable building practices.
