Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Melissa K. Bridges, who practices in the firm’s Cheboygan office, has been selected as a member of the inaugural “40 Under 40” class of the Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA).
The MMLA honored Bridges and the other members of the 40 Under 40 class of 2016 at its Legislative and Regulatory Luncheon on May 11 in East Lansing.
A member of Bodman’s Banking Practice Group, Bridges represents banks and other financial services firms, including mortgage lenders, in a broad range of regulatory compliance matters. She is a frequent speaker on financial institution regulatory topics and served as the moderator of the Michigan Bankers Association’s Compliance Forum. She regularly presents to members of the Financial Institutions Compliance Cooperative on topics relating to compliance with federal and state regulations.
Since its inception in 1929, the MMLA has provided the real estate finance industry with access to the State Legislature and state regulatory agencies to help promote a regulatory climate that gives lenders the ability to meet the real estate financing needs of Michigan residents.
Bodman has Michigan’s largest banking law practice. The firm is perennially ranked as Michigan’s top banking law firm by the highly respected client and peer review journal Chambers USA.
