Jennifer Hetu Named 2024 INTA Rising Star

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that the International Trademark Association (INTA) has recognized Bodman’s Jennifer M. Hetu as a 2024 Rising Star.
The Rising Star program identifies and cultivates future leaders and contributors to the intellectual property (IP) profession. For this initiative, INTA committee chairs and vice chairs select individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to contributing to the IP profession or to INTA by exemplifying substantive IP skills through achievements within or outside the Association.
Hetu is an active member and emerging leader of INTA. She was recently appointed to INTA’s Public Information Committee (PIC) and selected as the Chair of the Resources Distribution Subcommittee. She was previously a member of the PIC Social Media Subcommittee, and the Co-Chair of the Events Subcommittee of the Trademark Administrators Committee.
Hetu’s practice focuses on trademark law and brand protection. She advises businesses of all sizes on a wide range of trademark matters in the U.S. and international markets, collaborates with foreign law firms on worldwide trademark protection, and provides counseling regarding U.S. use and registration. She has received several recognitions for her work including being selected as a Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2023 Influential Woman in Law. Hetu is listed in Best Lawyers in America since 2018 under Trademark Law and is recognized as a DBusiness Magazine “Top Lawyer” under Copyright Law and Intellectual Property and Patent Law.
