Cameron D. Ritsema Joins Bodman’s Workplace Law Practice Group in Grand Rapids

Ritsema represents employers in the full range of labor and employment law matters including day-to-day employment law counseling, traditional labor law matters, the development of employer policies and practices, and employment-related litigation and dispute resolution processes.
Before joining Bodman, Ritsema was an associate at an AmLaw 200 law firm where he represented employers in connection with a broad variety of employment-related counseling and litigation including M&A integration, litigation avoidance employment policies, disciplinary actions, terminations, severances, reductions in force, FLSA, FMLA and WARN Act compliance and classifications, and Department of Labor investigations.
Ritsema graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and received an undergraduate degree from Grand Valley State University.
As a law student, Ritsema served as the managing editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. He participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court and was a semi-finalist in the Maurer Internal Trial Competition.
Ritsema is a United States Marine Corps veteran, having attained the rank of corporal and serving as a Fire Direction Center Chief and Squad Leader.
