Bodman Serves Non-Profits With Help From Michigan Community Resources

Through our relationship with Michigan Community Resources (MCR) and numerous other organizations, Bodman has the opportunity to serve nonprofits throughout the state which, in turn, serve the communities in which we live and work.
It is a testament to the generosity of our attorneys that we are able to serve so many organizations. During 2017, twenty-one new nonprofit organizations were referred to Bodman by MCR! At least nine additional nonprofits, most long-standing pro bono clients, received continued assistance. Plus, Bodman performed pro bono work for the direct benefit of MCR.
The work provided to these organizations has covered a wide variety of subjects – employee handbooks, business contracts, applying for tax exempt status, and lease negotiation, to name a few – and has included twenty-seven attorneys from nine of Bodman’s practice groups: Business, Real Estate, Enterprise Procurement, Tax, Litigation, Workplace, Banking, Construction, and High Net Worth.
