Bodman PLC “Highly Recommended” in Benchmark Litigation 2019
11/16/18
Bodman PLC has again been named a “highly recommended” Michigan law firm for business litigation by the internationally-recognized peer and client review journal Benchmark Litigation 2019.
Firms listed as “highly recommended” received the most favorable evaluations by peers and clients during Benchmark’s extensive research process and are regarded as “dominant” in their jurisdiction and area of practice.
Benchmark also recognizes individual litigation attorneys as “State Litigation Stars,” “Future Stars,” or as members of its “Under 40 Hot List” of up and coming litigation stars. Bodman attorneys listed in at least one of these categories include Justin P. Bagdady, Sarah L. Cylkowski, Michelle Thurber Czapski, Nathan D. Dupes, George G. Kemsley, Dennis J. Levasseur, Rebecca D’Arcy O’Reilly, Thomas J. Rheaume, Jr., Joseph J. Shannon, Thomas J. Tallerico, and Thomas Van Dusen. Overall, Bodman has more attorneys listed in Benchmark 2019 that any other Michigan law firm.
In its 2019 editorial on Bodman, the editors of Benchmark noted that “the [Bodman] litigation group is showcased for providing a ‘high level of knowledge and industry expertise.’ One client says about the firm’s litigation group, ‘I have been thoroughly pleased with the work that Bodman attorneys have provided. They are very responsive [and] extremely knowledgeable.’ ”
Benchmark is the only rating publication that focuses exclusively on litigation in the United States. Its findings are the result of four to six months of research with leading litigation attorneys and their clients. Researchers examine recent casework handled by law firms and ask individual litigators to offer their professional opinions on peers.
Bodman’s Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Practice Group attorneys appear before state and federal courts, and also non-judicial forums such as national and international arbitral panels. The group’s expertise spans many industries including accounting, banking and financial services, automotive, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, real estate and zoning, and construction, among others.
