File Clerk – High Net Worth Group – Detroit Office – Part Time

We are looking for a part-time File Clerk in our Detroit office. As a File Clerk, you will assist attorneys and legal secretaries with various matters to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assignments.

Primary Duties Include:

• Filing, organization and maintenance of work files;
• Photocopying and assembly of materials incident to organization of files;
• Assisting with the preparation of exhibits and other materials; and
• Any duties deemed necessary and appropriate by Firm attorneys.

Qualifications:

• Some college coursework in business helpful.
• Prior experience in a clerical setting is helpful, but not required.
• Experience with computers including Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Willingness to work with others in small directed group.
• High degree of organizational ability and the responsibility to follow through and complete assignments.
• Ability to retrieve and distribute files, written documents or office supplies weighing up to 30 pounds and ability to retrieve and replace objects from shelves of up to 8 feet high.
