Michelle Thurber Czapski Named to 2020 Class of Leaders in the Law

Bodman PLC is pleased to announce that Michelle Thurber Czapski of the Firm’s Troy office has been named to the Michigan Lawyers Weekly 2020 Class of “Leaders in the Law.”
Czapski, along with the other members of the 2020 Class, was honored at a virtual ceremony held on August 3.
Leaders in the Law are honored for significant accomplishments or achievements, outstanding contributions to the practice of law in Michigan, leadership in improving the justice system in Michigan, seeking improvements to the legal community and their communities at large, and setting an example for other lawyers.
Czapski, who chairs Bodman’s Insurance Practice Group, has over twenty years of experience representing major corporate clients in litigation and alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including class actions. She has successfully represented insurance and financial service companies, automotive and other product manufacturers, Tier-1 automotive suppliers, telecommunications companies, and pharmaceutical companies in matters involving product liability claims, consumer protection act claims, insurance and ERISA disputes, contract matters, and a broad range of other commercial and business disputes.
This is the latest in a long string of honors for Czapski. Crain’s Detroit Business honored her as one of Southeast Michigan’s “Notable Women Lawyers” in 2017. Michigan Super Lawyers lists her as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Michigan. She is also listed in Michigan Super Lawyers under Business Litigation, Class Action/Mass Torts, and Insurance Coverage, is listed in DBusiness Top Lawyers under Insurance Law and Litigation-Insurance, and is listed in Benchmark Litigation as a Local Litigation Star.
