Attorney – Workout and Loan Origination - Detroit Office - Full Time 

Seeking an attorney with two to five years of experience in commercial finance and/or commercial loan re-structuring and bankruptcy matters. Represent banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers in commercial loan and commercial real estate finance, and work-out and bankruptcy matters. Primary responsibilities include (i) drafting and negotiation of loan documents, forbearance agreements, notices of default and reservation of rights letters, (ii) reviewing collateral files and preparing document review memoranda, (iii) reviewing corporate due diligence (including UCC lien searches, organizational documents, certificates of good standing, litigation searches) and real estate due diligence (including review of title documents and surveys), and (iv) performing legal research.  

Admission to the Michigan Bar and excellent academic credentials are required.
