Mr. Currie is a member of the Banking Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in representing lenders in commercial loan originations.
Mr. Currie’s practice also includes middle market lending, asset based loans, healthcare, educational institution financing, captive insurance financing, real estate financing, aircraft financing, and letters of credit and other liquidity facilities supporting tax exempt and industrial development bonds.
Mr. Currie is past president of the East Michigan Chapter of Risk Management Association, a not-for-profit professional association that works to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial services industry.
In law school, Mr. Currie was an Assistant Managing Editor of the University of Toledo College of Law Review, a member of the 2010 University of Toledo Criminal Law Moot Court Team, and a member of the American Constitutional Society. He was also a Dean's Scholar and the recipient of the Merit Scholarship.
